Bone Broth

With the winter season in full swing here in the beautiful Colorado mountains, we are constantly reminded of the cozy comforts that come with sipping on a warm, homemade bone broth. Just the other day, I took the time to whip up a big stock pot of this golden elixir using our family's tried-and-true recipe. After simmering it for hours on end, I happily portioned out smaller servings and stashed them away in the freezer, ready to be enjoyed over the next few weeks.

Now, I know that the terms "bone broth" and "stock" are often used interchangeably, but there are a few key differences. While both broth and stock share similar components, such as vegetables and bones, bone broth takes the game to a whole new level. Unlike most stocks, bone broth requires a lengthy cooking process, allowing nature's miracle-worker, the nutrient-dense bone marrow, to slowly infuse the broth with its goodness.

Speaking of goodness, I wanted to take a moment to share my bone broth recipe with all of you lovely folks. And guess what? You don't have to look far for the star ingredient! Make sure to swing by our store and pick up some bones straight from the ranch itself to truly experience the magic of homemade broth.

And hey, if you have any variations or twists on the recipe that you'd like to share, please don't hesitate to reach out. So here's to warm and nourishing sips, cozy winter days, and the joy of homemade bone broth. Cheers, my friends!
Enjoy,
Erin
